Stephanie I Gowler is the Paper Conservator for the Indiana Historical Society. She holds a BA in English Literature from Earlham College, an MLIS and a Certificate in Book Arts from the University of Iowa, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Conservation from the University of Texas at Austin. Stephanie has worked in conservation since 2003, with experience at a wide range of cultural heritage institutions including Northwestern University Library, the Indiana State Library, the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, Bethany Theological Seminary, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Film Archive. She is a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC).
